Hydraulic Casing Centralizer

Overview

The tool consists of a mandrel, hydraulic cylinder, shear pins, centralizing body, anti-retraction mechanism and upper and lower connections.

After the tool is run as part of the completion string, casing pressure expands the centralizing body into close contact with the wellbore wall to center the casing in the horizontal section.

Product Advantages

  • The self-protection design allows movement up and down the wellbore without premature expansion.
  • A 10 mm high-strength alloy-steel centralizing body provides strong centralizing capacity.
  • A single centralizing body provides more than 40 kN of centralizing force and can visibly centralize two to three casing joints.
  • Hydraulic actuation is straightforward and does not change the existing cementing procedure.
  • The locking mechanism prevents retraction after expansion.
  • The expansion ratio accommodates a wellbore enlargement rate of 50%.
